
Shakespeare at the Bowl
We’re excited to be marking Shakespeare’s 400th anniversary at a special performance of music inspired by the Bard’s plays at the Hollywood Bowl. Conducted by Bramwell Tovey and performed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the concert will also feature readings from Globe actors.
The programme will include:
Korngold: Much Ado About Nothing Suite, Op 11
Schmitt: Antoine et Cléopâtre Suite No. 1
Berlioz: Roméo et Juliette: Queen Mab Scherzo
Tchaikovsky: Romeo and Juliet, Fantasy Overture
Directed by Iqbal Khan and adapted by Bill Barclay.
Performances will take place on Tuesday 30 August at 8.00pm and Thursday 1 September at 8.00pm. Discover more.
